About Me

Yaboy Reload, born Robert Beckford, in June of 89, comes to the music industry with nothing less than the best at all times. Music was always a passion to Reload, but he never recorded a single song until he was 15 years old. Up until that time, the only thing that he was able to do was write and recite his music through current songs at the time.It wasn't until he came across a childhood friend and found that they both had the same dream to make music and a team was formed. Spending countless hours in the studio Reload and his childhood friend began recording music. In July of 2007 they recorded their first song titled “Get Money”, then “Just Vibin” shortly after. The talents of Reload were quickly spreading to other music talented minds. In the fall of 2007, Reload submitted his music to Slip N Slide Records where he was sent a contract to join "Slip N Slide on Da Grind". At the time of the deal Reload was not yet ready to advance in his music career so the deal was declined and back to the studio. It took no time before Reload scored his first feature with an artist by the name of Key Notez. The song was put together virtually through the Internet and the song “What You Can Do” was produced by Lil A Productions and SJD. With everything going in the right direction and things looking promising for Reload, he began working on an album to release at the beginning of 2008; but the album would be put on hold when Reload found himself in trouble with the law. After serving time in jail Reload was released, and charges were dropped due to "Lack of Information". Once a free man, again it was back to the studio to releases all of the music previously recorded , and to contact as many record labels & radio stations as possible. Unfortunately  the door of rejection was often seen, Feeling discouraged Reload went back to the studio to work harder than ever at perfecting his craft and in February of 2009 almost 1 year after being off the radar “Fly With Me” was released and quickly hit the independent music charts for Hip Hop and RnB. Releasing a few other songs and doing a couple collaborations that year would be Reloads last appearance in 2009. Reload never left the music industry and stayed working on his writing until he met up with another under the radar local artist in 2010 by the name of BX Crippler. Shortly after meeting, the process on an album was immediately started. Reload, who knew little about producing at the time had sought help, from an unknown producer, who taught Reload everything he needed to know about the basics producing. With the knowledge obtained, he started working on an album with The BX Crippler. In the closing months of 2010, when the album was upon completion; "Keep It G" was the first single released from Yaboy Reload & The BX Crippler, and it quickly became a local fan favorite at a couple local colleges. After releaseing "Keep it G", " How To Do It" , "Motheland" & "Hard Times" were released and their music fell into the hands of an Interscope Distribution Representative. Shortly after being contacted, an Internet Distribution Deal was Offered and Accepted. The Album was titled "Keep It G(From Gangsta to Golden)" and was set to be released in June of 2011 where it hit internet stores like: iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Napster, Rhapsody etc. There is no telling where the future lies for any particular person but Yaboy Reload is set on making his mark in the music industry and has been in the studio since the release of the album working and will constantly be a name to be heard in the near coming years!
